Corporate and Personal Taxes

We take the stress out of taxes.

Every corporation in Canada must file a tax return, even if it doesn’t owe any tax that year you still have to file a corporate tax return.

Corporate tax returns are substantially more difficult to prepare than personal taxes because individual taxpayers are only required to report income, whereas corporations are required to report their balance sheet, income, owners distributions, payroll, and GST.

ABBS can greatly reduce the stress and anxiety when you submit your corporate returns to your accountant at year end. We pay attention to every detail to ensure accurate reporting while maximizing any refunds. A well prepared tax return will substantially reduce accounting costs when it's time to file.

We prepare federal and provincial returns.

In Alberta and Quebec, the provincial government collects provincial corporate taxes itself rather than having the CRA collect on its behalf. This means you must prepare and file a separate provincial return at the same time as your federal tax return.

In all other jurisdictions, the federal government manages the collection of provincial corporate taxes.

We've got your personal taxes covered too.

While personal taxes are far less involved than corporate returns, we still apply the same level of attention to detail. We go over everything with a fine tooth comb to ensure you're bases are covered and you're receiving the maximum credits possible.

Individual tax rules often change year to year and its not uncommon for people to miss these changes. You can trust that ABBS follows and understands these changes so there are no surprises come tax time.
